Description
Bright Angel Trail is a popular hiking path known for its breathtaking views and challenging terrain. Unlike many trails, it has no guardrails, adding to the sense of adventure and natural beauty. The trail begins at Grand Canyon Village and descends through a tunnel carved into the canyon face. From there, it continues its winding journey down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, offering hikers stunning vistas of the canyon’s layered rock formations and the Colorado River below.
A picture of the trailhead can be seen in the photo titled “IMMAR-Bright-Angel-Traihead-Grand-Canyon-March-2017-2.” This image captures the entrance to the trail, where hikers embark on their journey into one of the world’s most iconic natural wonders.
